Cho vào một ít nước lạnh để nồi cá kho không bị cháy. Kho đến khi nước trong nồi sệt lại thì tắt bếp. Rắc lên một ít tiêu và hành lá cho đẹp mắt. Múc ra đĩa dùng với cơm nóng.
